SYPRIS RECEIVES U.S. GOVERNMENT CERTIFICATION FOR ITS RASKL® ELECTRONIC KEY FILL DEVICE

TAMPA, FL. (July 29, 2010) – Sypris Electronics, LLC, a subsidiary of Sypris Solutions, Inc., announced that it has received certification from the U.S. Government for its RASKL® (KIK-30) electronic key fill device. RASKL is one of the first modern KYK-13 replacement devices to receive a high assurance National Security Agency (NSA) certification for tactical use.

The Really Simple Key Loader, or RASKL, is a modernized electronic key fill product used to load electronic keying data into secure communication equipments. Due to the demanding, tactical environments for which the product was designed, RASKL is fully ruggedized, small, lightweight, requires no formal training and implements a one-button “key squirt” process for loading electronic key. The RASKL holds up to 40 modern electronic keys and is depot repairable.
