Provides one channel of analog recording from dc to 8 MHz and two auxiliary channels for recording time and event coding or voice annotation. Provides transient-free reproduction of pre-recorded data with a high degree of reliability. Records and reproduces analog, FM, PAM, PCM and NRZ, NRZ-L data on commercial off-the-shelf S-VHS ST-120 tape cassettes.
